| This type of lingual arch is removable. This .036 wire can be removed from it's lingual tubes in order to easily be adjusted. The wire slides into it's lingual tubes on a parallel plane making this appliance easily accessable to the doctor to adjust. |

| Nance buttons are used to maintain space on the upper arch. These appliances are usually banded on the six year molars, but can be banded on any tooth desired. Palatal acrylic can be large or small, depending on Dr. preference and can also be processed in a variety of colors. |
